Morning Pointe of Hixson (near Chattanooga) is a new assisted living facility that sits on a 20-acre campus that what was once the Hixson family homestead. The owners of Independent Healthcare want people to feel like they are walking into their home. The new assisted living center also has an Alzheimer’s memory care center and 69 apartments. Construction on a 125-bed Life Care Center of Hixson will begin soon; there are also plans for an independent living center. Independent Health Care Properties is the developer.
