What Thornton Oaks Retirement Community is like |
| Thornton Oaks is located in Brunswick, a coastal community 30 minutes north of Portland; 2.5 hours north of Boston or 2.5 hours south of Bar Harbor. The community is home of Bowdoin College where residents may audit classes and enjoy the sports activities. Brunswick hosts the Bowdoin International Music Festival and the Maine State Music Theater.
